Welcome to Catkin, a literary magazine. The first edition is dedicated to family stories, the "kin" of "catkin". Our contributors considered themes surrounding relationships to mothers, fathers, grandparents, and siblings either real or fictional. Many of the contributors are or were recently students at UW-Milwaukee and connected to the English department. Many of our contributors are also published in other literary magazines and working on their own literary projects. The editor thanks everyone who contributed and will contribute in the future.
